LILLIE MAE BRENNEMAN

Lillie Mae Brenneman, daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth Hilty Geiger, was born near Bluffton, Ohio on Sept. 18, 1883; passed away following an extended illness at Mary Rutan Hospital, Belfontaine, Ohio on Dec. 22, 1957, at 6:00 p. m., aged 74 years, three months, and four days. She was the last survivor of 11 children.

In early life she united with the Mennonite Church and remained faithful to the end.

She was a devoted wife and mother, and deeply concerned for the welfare of her grandchildren. Her friendly disposition won for her many friends.

On Oct. 12, 1910, she was united in marriage to Moses H. Brenneman who survives along with two daughters, Geneva, Mrs. Orrie Harshbarger of West Liberty, Ohio and Gladys, Mrs. Hiram Brenneman of Lima, Ohio, and five grandchildren.

The funeral services were held at the Salem Mennonite Church, Elida, Ohio in charge of Richard Martin and James Detweiler. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
