ELLERY BLYTHE BRAUN

Ellerby Blythe Braun of Edmonton was born to Otto and Lorraine (nee Penner) Braun on March 25, 1964 in Herbert, Sask. He first became ill with lymphoma in January of this year. This required a regular schedule of treatments which enabled him to live a relatively normal life with his family. He also attended church and school whenever possible. On September 18 he was admitted to University Hospital, Edmonton. While in the hospital, although he was very weak, he shared happy memories with his family. He passed away on September 24.

During the fourteen and one half years of his life his family lived in various parts of Canada. This enlarged his experience and stimulated his interest in reading, photography and music. He success fully completed grade eight while coping with his illness. Throughout the past eight and one half months Ellery maintained a positive outlook on life and a strong faith in God.

He leaves to remember him his sister Maurya, his parents Otto and Lorraine Braun, his grandparents, Mr. an Mrs. George Penner of Herbert, Sask., many cousins, uncles and aunts in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and B.C., and close friends in Edmonton.
