DELORIS J. BOSHART

Deloris Jean Boshart, of Milford, neb., died Jan. 21, 2001, at Sunrise Country manor near Milford at the age of 70.

She was born June 27, 1930, on a farm west of Milford, to Jake and Mary (Danner) Stutzman, the eighth of 10 children born. As a girl she attended Stauffer Country School west of Milford. Deloris accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized in her youth at East Fairview Mennonite church. On Sept. 26, 1948, she married Burdette J. Boshart in Milford. Four daughters and a son were born to them. They lived in Milford, where Deloris was a charter member of Beth-El Mennonite Church.

She was an avid quilter and cook and loved very much her time spent with the grandchildren. Deloris overcame a hearing loss early in life and had numerous lengthy illnesses over the years yet never complained.

Survivors include her husband, Burdette, four daughters, Pat and her husband Lynn Hostetler of Columbia, Mo., Holly and her husband Roger Hostetler of Beaver Crossing, Carla and her husband Don Yeackley of Milford, and Pam and her husband Van Wurst of Columbus; a son, Mike and his wife Michelle of North Platte; 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Dick, Wilbur, Harley and Elden Stutzman.
