Dies Four Months After Accident

Middlefield, Ohio. — Injuries suffered in a traffic accident on May 31 of this year proved fatal to John J. Borkholder, 67, who died Oct. 5 in the hospital.

Mr. Borkholder had been paralyzed from the waist down since the accident, which occurred as the family was coming home from church services. Shortly before his death, preparations were being made to move him to his home.

A native of the Nappanee, Ind. community, he was first married to Fannie Yoder, who died in 1932. He had resided here since 1945, when he was married to Elma Mae Schmucker. She survives with several children, brothers and sisters.
