AGED GRANDFATHER DIED AT KALONA, IA.
Wellman, lowa. — Funeral services were held at the East Union Mennonite church for David E. Bontrager, 69, well known retired farmer who died at his home in Kalona on Oct. 25. Born in Fairfield county, Ohio, he was a longtime resident of southeastern Iowa. Surviving are his wife, Mary M., whom he married in 1897, four sons and four daughters, 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
