LIFELONG RESIDENT OF IOWA PASSES

Wayland, Iowa. — Dan J. Boller, who lived in the Kalona and Wayland communities all of his life, passed away here recently at the age of 89. He was in the furniture and undertaking business here until his retirement in 1941, and was one of those responsible for the building of the Mennonite church in Wayland.

Mr. Boller was born near Kalona on November 23, 1856, and moved to Wayland 52 years ago. His wife, Barbara, and one son, Dr. O. f. Boller of Washington, Iowa, survive.
