GERALD G. BOESE

Gerald G. Boese was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boese on Jan. 2, 1881, near Springfield, S. D.

He was married to Ida Buller on May 28, 1903. In 1907 they homesteaded in the vicinity of Bloomfield, Mont. They lived there until his retirement in 1941, when they moved to Glendive. In the following year they moved to Billings, Mont.

Mr. Boese was a member of the Mennonite church at Bloomfield, Mont. He became sick Jan. 9, 1955, and was taken to the hospital Jan. 10. He was sick with pneumonia or five and one-half days, and on Jan. 15 at 11 o’clock passed to the great Beyond.

Surviving are his wife Ida; three sons, Alfred of Bloomfield, Lyle of Boyd and Harley of West Allis, Wis.; four daughters, Mrs. Henry Senner of Glendive, Mont., Mrs. Louis Meyers of Waukesha, Wis., Mrs. Lawrence Boese of Bloomfield, and Mrs. A. C. Valencia of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one sister, six brothers, 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at the Korch and Hueble Chapel in Glendive, Mont., with burial in the Mennonite cemetery at Glendive.
