MRS. SARAH ANN BLEILE

Mrs. Sarah Ann Bleile, 69, died Saturday afternoon Nov. 8, 1947, in her home southeast of Nappanee, Ind. Death followed a sudden heart attack suffered earlier in the afternoon.

She was born March 6, 1878, near here, the daughter of Rev. Noah and Nancy (Hartman) Metzler. Her marriage to Ezra P. Bleile took place Nov. 7, 1899. He survives, with nine children: Mrs. Dan Yoder, Fairview, Mich.; Mrs. Jesse Albin and Mrs. Romayne Sherman, both of Goshen; Mrs. Paul Weldy, Nappanee; Mrs. Airell Miller, Warsaw; Earl M. Bleile, Roseberg, Ore.; John W., Elkhart, and Paul E. and Gerald, both of Wakarusa. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. David Yoder, Middelbury [sic], and Mrs. Ella Housour and Mrs. M. E. Mullett, both of Nappanee; 31 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 11, at the North Main Street church of Napanee, of which she was a member. Rev. Homer North officiated. Burial was in the Union Center cemetery.
