F. G. Bixler

Berne, Ind., July 18. — Funeral services for F. G. Bixler, who died at his home in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Tuesday, will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 from the home of Mrs. David Bixler and at 2 o'clock from the Mennonite church. A telegram received here this morning stated that the body has been shipped and is due to arrive here Saturday afternoon on the southbound train.

Franklin G. Bixler, 48,son of Mrs. David Bixler, of this place, died Tuesday morning at his home in Cheyenne, Wyoming, from heart trouble. The news was a great shock to local relatives although Mr. Bixler had been in failing health for a few years.

The deceased left this community about 20 years ago, going to Florida with his young wife. The couple lived at Key West for several years. There Mr. Bixler's health broke and from there the couple moved to Cheyenne. There Mr. Bixler operated a jewelry store until his death.

He was a son of the late David Bixler and Anna Luginbill Bixler. He was born in Berne, on November 27, 1881. On July 18, 1904, he was united in marriage with Miss Daisy Crawford, of Sullivan, Indiana. No children were born to this union.

Surviving are the mother, of this place, his widow and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Amos Reusser, of Berne, now on a trip through the Holy Land; Mrs. T. M. Hoffman, of Logansport; Mrs. W. J. Rinder, of Hastings, Nebraska; Noah A. Bixler, of Decatur; Mrs. A. C. Smith; Mrs. Albert Winteregg and Ermin D. Bixler, of Berne.
