MARTHA BERGMAN
Martha Bergman died Nov. 14, 2007. She was born May 11, 1924 to Johann Peter and Maria Enns Bergmann in Rueckenau, Ukraine. The family immigrated to Canada in 1924 shortly after Martha's birth, and settled in Manitoba and then Virgil, Ont., where they thrived. Martha became a registered nursing assistant in 1970 and served at both the St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake hospitals until retirement. Martha loved the Lord and treasured fellowship at Virgil MB Church, now Cornerstone Community Church. The funeral was Nov. 19 at Cornerstone Community Church.
