— Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Berger, age 81 years, were held Wednesday, March 1, at the Garden Township church west of Hesston. The body was brought here from Summerfield, Ill., where Mrs. Berger died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Ed. Phillips, on Februay 26. Mrs. Berger was originally a member of the Summerfield church, having been baptized there by Rev. Christian Krehbiel in 1877. Later she was married to Jacob E. Berger of Halstead, where they also made their home. The services at the Garden Township church were in charge of Rev. A. J. Dirks.
