— Funeral services for Jacob Bergen, 89 year old pioneer, were held Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Sommerfeld church at Altona, Man. For many years Grandfather Bergen had been a farmer in the Rudnerweide neighborhood. His wife, with whom he shared the joys and sorrows of married life for over 60 years, died five years ago.
