Aged Buhler Couple Called by Death

Buhler, Kan. -- Double funeral services were conducted at the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church last Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Jacob F. Bergen, residents of the Sunshine Home here who died within a few days of each other.

Mr. Bergen, 87, died Oct. 24 at Grace Hospital in Hutchinson five weeks after suffering a broken hip. His wife Anna, 82, died at the same hospital on Sunday morning. They had been married for 63 years and spent most of their lives in this community.

Surviving in the immediate family are two sons, three daughters, 16 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
