PETER J. BERG
Peter John Berg was born in 1897 in Kuban, S. Russia. He was saved and baptized in 1921, and 3 years later married Liese Schroeder. They had 1 foster daughter, Annie. Peter pioneered and farmed in Yarrow, B.C., where he also helped in the church work.
He died in the Chilliwack General Hospital on June 1 and is survived by his wife, daughter, 9 grandchildren, and 2 sisters. The funeral service was held in the Yarrow M.B. Church on June 5.
