Mrs. Almeda Benninghoff

Almeda Alice Benninghoff was born in Akron, Ohio, April 3, 1863, and passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Addie West in Franklin township, Ohio, Thursday evening, Sept. 12, at 8:50 o'clock.

At the time of her death she was 77 years of age.

Mrs. Benninghoff was married to Elihu Wilson August 13, 1881, who passed away April 24, 1912. Tho [sic] this union were born six children, three having preceded their mother in death.

She was married to William Benninghoff August 15, 1915, who passed away November 15, 1935.

She was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, of Hamilton twp., Clare county.

She has been an invalid for the past ten years but through it all has been a patient sufferer. She was home loving and scattered sunshine along the way, making life worth living.

Mrs. Benninghoff leaves to mourn her passing one son, Chas. Wilson, and two daughters, Mrs. Grover Lytle of Hamilton township; and Mrs. Addie West of Franklin township; two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Rummsey of Batavia, Mich., and Mrs. Curtis Connon of Angola, Ind. One step-son, Clyde Benninghoff and two step-daughters, Mrs. Worthy Landis and Mrs. Benj. Robinson of Angola, Indiana; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren besides other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the home Sunday afternoon, burial in the Cedar Crest Cemetery. Rev. Herman Mininger officiated.
