— The G. H. Willms family have received word of the death of William Beller at Pontiac, Ill., Saturday, April 18. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning, April 20. Two daughters and their families survive, Mrs. Carl Miller, Elkhart, Ind., and Mrs. Waldo P. Dick, Woodburn, Ind. Waldo F. Dick is a brother of Mrs. Willms.

PETER W. BELLER

Peter William Beller, son of John and Mary (Forney) Beller, was born near Graymont, Ill. on June 28, 1897. He died on April 18, 1959, in the St. James Hospital in Pontiac, Ill., age 61 years and 10 months.

At an early age he became a member of the Waldo Mennonite Church of which he remained a faithful member all his life.

On Dec. 31, 1918, he married the former Mattie Stalter at the home of her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Stalter, near Flanagan. To this union were born two daughters, Carol (Mrs. Carl Miller of Elkhart, Ind.) and Doris (Mrs. Waldo Dick of Woodburn, Ind.)

He was preceded in death by his wife on April 17, 1929, his parents, three brothers, Simon, Jacob and Andrew, and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Heintz and Anna.

He is survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Sarah Beller of Eureka, Ill., his daughters, seven grandchildren and seven sisters besides many nieces and nephews. The sisters are Mrs. Joseph (Katie) Orendorff, Mrs. Gus (Elizabeth) Grieser, Mrs Edward (Mary) Yordy, Mrs. L. J. (Barbara) Middleton, Mrs. L. J. (Lena) Hartzler, Mrs. Eli (Emma) Roeschley and Mrs. Leo (Lovina) Roeschley.

Services were held at the Waldo Mennonite Church with Rev. J. D. Hartzler and Rev. Edwin J. Stalter officiating. Interment was made in the Waldo Cemetery.
