Our darling little daughter, Lois Irene Becker, was born on March 29, 1941, at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel, Kans., bringing much joy and happiness into the home of her parents, Harry and Frances Becker.
Lois Irene was not of the best of health from the time of her birth. Medical aid was sought, but all that could be done was without avail. The Lord had another way for her, for He called her out of this world of trouble into His arms of love. She passed quietly away in mother's arms after several hours of severe and intense suffering on July 4, 1941, at 6:35 P. M., Friday, near Galva, Kans., of anemia at the age of three months and five days.
She leaves to mourn her early departure, her deeply bereaved parents, one brother Melvin Dale, her grandparents, and many other relatives and friends. But we mourn not as such that have no hope for Jesus hath said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
Services here held Sunday, July 6, at the home at two o'clock and at the Lonetree church at two-thirty o'clock. interment in nearby cemetery.
