Tragic Accident In Community At Galva, Kansas, Last Week
JULIA ANN BECKER FATALLY INJURED IN YARD AT HER HOME
Galva, Kansas. — Deep sorrow cast its shadow over this community Wednesday, July 2, when Julia Ann Becker, fifteen-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Becker, became entangled in a rope used to tie a calf to a tree and was dragged to death.
The small girl apparently wandered into the are covered by the picket rope, became entangled and was killed in the animal's plunging. Physicians said she suffered a broken neck and fractured skull.
