On June 3, 1906, at the age of 19, she was baptized on the confession of her faith and received into the New Hopedale Mennonite church at Meno. though taking her membership to another church for an interval of time, she again brought it back to Meno and remained a faithful, active member till the end. She was very active in the Ladies’ Aid and very faithful in attendance at the worship services of the church, where her presence will be greatly missed.

On December 1, 1936, she was united in marriage to Dan Becker. They have been permitted to spend some fourteen and one-half years in married bliss on their farm home north of Meno.

About six years ago she discovered a diabetic condition in her system. though this caused her considerable discomfort, she did not permit it to rob her of the joy of living and serving.
