Tragic Accident Takes Two Lives in Oklahoma.

A tragic accident which claimed the lives of Dan A. Becker of Meno, Okla., and Mrs. Andrew B. Becker from Perryton, Texas, his sister-in-law, occurred near Beaver City, Okla., sometime Tuesday, January 3. Both had driven to Supply, Okla., where they visited Mrs. Dan Becker, who is in the hospital there.

After starting back to Perryton, Texas, at eight o'clock in the evening, they met with the tragic accident near Beaver City, Okla. Mrs. Becker was driving her car, as far as could be learned. While crossing a bridge the car hit first the banister on one side of the bridge, then the other, and again rebounding to the opposite side dropped into the creek about 20 feet below, where both were killed. On the following morning a farmer noticed the car and by investigating found the two dead bodies.

The remains of the deceased were taken to Meno, Okla., and buried in the Newhopedale cemetery January 8. The funeral services were attended by the largest crow that ever attended any funeral service in that church.

Mr. Becker was laid to rest on the same lot with his father, while Mrs. Becker was interred by the side of her husband who died in 1919.
