Amish Youth Drowns
Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Merle Beachy, 18-year-old Amish youth, accidentally drowned Aug. 2 while at a public beach near Navarre with two friends. He was a non-swimmer, and the body was recovered by a lifeguard.
