OLDEST MEMBER OF AMISH COMMUNITY IN IOWA DEAD AT 92
Kalona, Iowa. — Jonas Beachy oldest member of the Amish community here, passed away June 20 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Katie Yoder. He was 92. A large congregation, including visitors from other states, attended the funeral services at the Andy Beachy home here.
After the services here, the body was sent to Defiance county, Ohio for final services and burial.
