Youths Killed When Auto Hits Tree

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Two young men of this community were killed in a one-car crash near here early Thursday morning, May 29.

Dead are Aden J. Beachy, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe M. Beachy who was on vacation from 1-W service at Sarasota (Florida) Memorial Hospital, and Richard D. Maurer, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Maurer. Wade Hershberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hershberger, was seriously injured in the accident.

The car in which the three were riding left Route 39 on a curve near the Mrs. Howard Mast farm and crashed into a tree. The Beachy youth was a member of the Amish church.
