ONTARIO YOUTH DIES IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH NEAR WATERTOWN, N. Y.
Kitchener, Ont. — Earl W. Bast, son of Emanuel Bast of Kitchener, Ontario, was killed in a motorcycle accident near Watertown, New York on Sunday, August 7.
He was 19 years of age and was on his way to Watertown to work on the farm of his uncle Elmer Bast. His cousin Kenneth Bast, who was riding with him, was hospitalized with only slight injuries.
Earl Bast attended the First Mennonite Church where funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 10, with Bishop C. F. Derstine in charge.
