Noah Basinger

Noah Basinger, second son of the later Peter and Maria Basinger, died at the home of is [sic] daughter, Mrs. Susan Schowalter, at Moundridge, Kansas, on Sunday, May 24, 1931, having attained the age of 93 years, 1 month and 15 days. He was born in Mahoning County, Ohio, April 9, 1838. His wife preceded him in death 20 years ago.

To this union 10 children were born, five sons and five daughters, of which three preceeded [sic] him in death. 50 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren survive him, also one sister, Mrs. Christian Boyer of Columbia, Ohio, and one brother, John Basinger, of Canfield, Ohio.

His remains were taken to his former home at Orlando, Okla., and were laid to rest beside those of his wife. Services will be held there today.
