D. B. BASINGER, WELL KNOWN EDITOR OF PANDORA TIMES, CALLED AWAY IN DEATH

The Times of Pandora, Ohio, reported last week that its former editor, David B. Basinger, 67, who published and edited the paper for over 40 years, died Wednesday, June 24, of heart trouble.

Although in poor health for about two years, he was critically ill and confined to his bed only one week.

He was a member of the Missionary church, where he served as deacon and Sunday School superintendent for many years.

Funeral services were held at the Grace Mennonite church, Friday afternoon, June 26, Rev. Armin Steiner officiating.

Mr. Basinger is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Gratz Basinger, and four children: Mrs. Irene Schumacher, and Miss Esther Basinger at home; Mrs. Katherine Ramseyer, of Jackson, Michigan; and Iner Basinger, of Pandora.

Iner Basinger has served as editor of the Pandora Times since his father's illness.
