FUNERAL OF YOUTH DROWNED AT ENID, OKLA., HELD THERE ON MAY 29

Enid, Okla. — The Mennonite Brethren church here was the scene of an unusually large funeral Thursday afternoon, May 29, as Vernon Balzer, son of Henry V. Balzer, was laid to his resting place here.

The youth lost his life through drowning at about three o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 25. Searchers worked till two o'clock Monday morning until his body was finally recovered.
