• Funeral services were held at the Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro on Friday morning, May 26, for Frank Balzer, 73, who died unexpectedly at his home in Hillsboro on May 23 after an apparent heart attack. A retired farmer, he also worked as an accountant at Goessel. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Eichhorn of Denver and Mrs. Kenneth Neufeld of Hutchinson; one son, Richard, and a sister, Mrs. Leslie Rempel, of Hillsboro.
