Mrs. J. J. Baker, 89, of Wolf Point, died June 23 while alone in her home. The funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon, June 26, in the EMB Church, with Rev. Karl Dick officiating, assisted by Rev. Bob Wineberger, Peter Wiens and Pastor Block of Wolf Point. Mrs. Baker was a nurse and served people far and wide. Although she was a busy farmer's wife, she never refused to help others.

Joe Knudson of Wolf Point was killed on a Honda accident June 26 in Helena, Mont. were [sic] they were visiting at the time. He was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Olfert of Wolf Point. The body was returned here and the funeral was conducted in Wolf Point.
