JOHN BAHNMAN

John Bahnman, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bahnman, Elbow, Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly into the presence of the Lord on March 30, at the age of 23 years. .

He was born on April 4, 1943. At the age of 9, he accepted Christ as his Saviour and was baptized upon confession of his faith in 1965. He attended high school and two years of Bible school at Caronport, Saskatchewan.

At the time of his death he was living in Vancouver where he was employed. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Herbert Brandt, April 2, at the Killarney Park Church in Vancouver. Services were also held in the Mennonite Brethren Church at Elbow with David Esau and Jacob Schmidt officiating. He is survived by his loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bahnman, two brothers, Alvin and Rueben, one sister, Ruth, all of Elbow; eight uncles, four aunts, and several cousins in Saskatchewan and British Columbia. The family takes comfort in the knowledge that John was a happy Christian and was ready to meet his Saviour.
