WILLIAM BAERG

William Baerg, of Vineland, Ontario, was born in Lichtenau, South Russia in 1892. In 1922 he married Anna Mandtler, and in 1925 they came to Canada, settling first in Manitoba, then later in Ontario. In October, 1972 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. He died on January 6, 1973.

Mr. Baerg became a Christian while still in Russia, was baptized and joined the M. B. Church, where he has been a blessing and a quiet follower of Jesus. At the funeral Rev. Neufeld stressed that for the believer death is gain. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

He leaves to mourn his wife Anna, one son, five daughters, 17 grandchildren and other relatives.
