MISS ANNIE BAERG

Annie Baerg was born on April 30, 1902, the daughter of Peter and Helen Baerg, Mennon, Saskatchewan. She spent her childhood and youth on the farm at Mennon and committed herself to the Lord and joined the MB Church at Dalmeny at the age of 19.

In 1946 her parents retired from the farm and made their home in Dalmeny, and after the passing of her father in 1949, she moved to Saskatoon together with her mother and sister Rosie.

Annie's mother passed away in 1953 and she then shared her home with her sister Rosie. In 1954 she was privileged to visit other members of her family in Ontario, British Columbia and in the western and southern states. In 1956 she entered the Home for the Aged in Dalmeny and remained there until her death.

She enjoyed needlecraft, took great delight in ladies' aid activities, and was a faithful prayer supporter, remembering especially her brothers to the Lord.

Her health began to fail about three years ago and she was admitted to hospital on November 21. She passed away on December 3. She was predeceased by her parents; one sister, Mrs. Helen Giesbrecht; and two brothers, Abe and· Dave.

She leaves to mourn: her brothers, Peter and family of Alberta, John and family of Ontario, Frank and family of Saskatoon, Bill and wife of B.C., Herman and family of California; Mrs. Kathrine Ritz and family of California, Mrs. Corny Janz (Mary) and family of Saskatoon, Mrs. Lloyd Reeves (Rosie) and family of Washington; Mrs. Henry Schmidt (Susie) and family of Saskatoon, as well as Mr. Abe Giesbrecht and family of California, and Mrs. Abe Baerg also of California.
