Alvin Baer

Aberdeen, Idaho, May 29 — Alvin Baer, 14 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Baer, who has been seriously ill for three weeks, having suffered an attack of Spinal Meningitis, died Tuesday evening at the American Falls hospital where he had been cared for during his illness. Following the siege of Meningitis an abcess developed on the lad's brain and he lay unconscious and helpless from Saturday until the end came Tuesday.

The funeral for Alvin Baer was held Wednesday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church with Rev. Ratchkowski of American Falls officiating. The Davis Undertaking Co. of American Falls was in charge of the funeral and under orders of health authorities, the sealed casket was not removed from the funeral coach at the church services.

Alvin Baer was an agreeable lad, well liked among his youthful friends as well as older people who knew him, and the community extends sympathy to the bereaved family in their hours of sadness. — Aberdeen Times.
