MEMBER OF AMISH CHURCH FOUND DEAD IN FIELD AT BAREVILLE, PENN.

Bareville, Pa. — Samuel Augsperger, 66, a member of the Weavertown Amish church, was found dead in a field about a quarter of a mile from the farm home of his son Jacob, where he was visiting.

Upon leaving on a hunting trip shortly after noon, Mr. Augsperger told the family he expected to be back soon. He failed to return, however, and members of the family went out to search for him. His lifeless body was found in the field sometime between eight and nine o'clock in the evening.

The deceased is survived by his deeply sorrowing wife and seven children. Funeral services were held at the Weavertown church.
