Aged Member Of Goshen Church Dies

Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services for Mrs. Leah Susan Augsburger, 90, widow of Daniel Augsburger, were held July 17 at the Eighth Street Mennonite church, of which she was a member. She died July 15 at the Goshen Hospital after a long illness.

A native of Blomington [sic Bloomington], Ill., Mrs. Augsburger had lived in the Milford and Goshen communities for the past 40 years. An experience of her youth which she often recalled was a trip which she and two other young women made from Bloomington to Colorado, driving a team of horses all the way.

For a number of years Mrs. Augsburger had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Forrest G. Cripe, who survives with a son John of Milford, and a step-son, Leo Augsburger of Bloomington, Ill.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Steinman of Woodburn.
