MILK IS FATAL TO TWO CHILDREN

Caney, Kan. — Milk from a cow apparently suffering some ailment due to eating acorns from jack-oak trees was blamed for the deaths of two children of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Anderson of Peru, Kan. Dr. H. S. Lambdin, who attributed their death to the affected milk, said he previously had encountered cases of milk poisoning as an indirect result of cows eating acorns. he said death was due to a bowel infection resulting from the milk.
