HARVEY AMSTUTZ

Harvey Elmer Amstutz, son of John and Susan Amstutz, was born in Orrville, Ohio, November 8, 1886. He passed away July 1, 1959 at Watonga, Okla., hospital.

He came with his parents to Oklahoma in September, 1901. In March 28, 1902, he was baptized upon his confession of faith by Rev. J. S. Krehbiel and accepted into the First Mennonite church, Geary, Okla., of which he remained a faithful member till his death.

He was united in marriage to Osie Abraham on August 9, 1908. Last year they celebrated their golden wedding.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Osie; four sisters, Lydia Funk, El Reno; Pearl Coil, Geary; Nora Peters, Hollywood; Elma Payne, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Earl Amstutz, Geary, and Milo Amstutz, Tulsa; besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Amstutz was held Sunday, July 5, at First Mennonite church at 2 p m. and was conducted by Rev. Henry Hege. Burial was made at Geary cemetery.
