ELIZABETH H. ALLEBACH

Elizabeth H. Allebach, 87, of Souderton, Pa., died May 9, 1997, at Souderton Mennonite Homes. She was born April 18, 1910, to Edwin A. and Ella C. (Hackman) Souder at their farm near Telford.

On June 2, 1928 she married Pual T. Alleblach. He died Oct. 10, 1993. Before moving to Souderton Homes in 1992, they lived near Harleysville for 47 years and before that at Telford.

She was a longtime member of Rockhill Mennonite Church in Telford, where funeral services were held May 13, 1997, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Marvin S. and wife Esther of Souderton, Paul S. and wife Sandra of Quakertown, Gerald S. and wife Margaret of Palmyra and James L. and wife Sylvia of Souderton; five daughters, Ruth Sheeler and husband James of Newville, Esther King and husband David of Bainbridge, N.Y., Miriam mack and husband Norman of Perkiomenville, Lois Leatherman and husband Donald of Newville and Elain Derstine and husband John of Souderton; 36 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Irene Bechtel and Gladys Kolb, both of Souderton, and Iona Weaver of Lansdale; and thee brothers, Kraybill Souder of Bradenton, Fla., Eugene Souder of Grottoes, Va., and Stanley Souder of Telford.

She was preceded in death by a sister Grace Kolb, and two brothers, Mahlon Souder and Norman Souder.
