Description: Freeland Seminary, "First school by Mennonites in America, founded about 1847 by Rev. Abraham H. Hunsicker and his son Rev. H. A. Hunsicer, both Mennonite Ministers, Trappe, Pa. This was the foundation or beginning of Ursinus College and Seminary, Collegeville, Pa. The building still stands and is occupied by Mr. & Mrs. Abraham F. Bertolet. Abraham P. Bertolet, an old Mennonite deacon, 81 years of age is lying at the point of death - 3-6-1906. Two years ago, Rev.
