10 YEAR OLD AMISH BOY KILLED WHILE PLAYING AT SAWMILL
Belleville, Penna. — Funeral services for Israel B. Zook, Jr., 10-year-old son of Israel B. and Mattie Yoder Zook who was fatally injured while playing at a sawmill, were held at the Zook residence Sept. 15. Pre. John Renno of the Amish church officiated.
The boy and several companions were playing at the mill about a mile from the Zook home when he climbed onto a heavy cart used to move logs to the saw. He somehow started the cart down the track and it ran off of the mill floor, overturning and crushing him underneath.
