Little Girl Dies Under Truck Wheels

Ephrata, Pa. — An accident at the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Larry M. Zimmerman at Rothsville near here claimed the life of the couple's 23-month-old daughter, Dorcas.

The girl's father had backed a pickup truck up to a silage bin and loaded the truck. As he pulled away he felt a bump, and discovered that he had hit the child who had walked in front of the truck, out of his range of vision.

Surviving in addition to the parents are three sisters and one brother, and eight grandparents and great-grandparents.
