I-W Worker Killed in New Jersey Crash

Ephrata, Pa. — A two-car crash on a four-lane highway near Denville, N. J. claimed the life of Daniel H. Zimmerman, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses S. Zimmerman of rural Ephrata.

The young man, who was in 1-W service at Greystone State Hospital, Greystone, N. J., died early Sunday, April 10, in a Dover, N. J. Hospital. The accident occurred the evening of April 8, and also resulted in critical injuries to his companion, Arlene F. Sperone of Rockaway, N. J.

Reports of the crash said that Zimmerman's car was struck from the rear by another auto traveling from 85 to 90 miles per hour.

Funeral services were held April 13 at the Conestoga Mennonite Church. The youth is survived by his parents, three sisters and four brothers, and his grandfather, Weaver W. Zimmerman.
