ROSA ELLEN ZIMMERMAN

Rosa Ellen Zimmerman, 83, died May 31, 1985, at Siesta Nursing Home in Pratt, Kan. Born Rosa Ellen Nutter Feb. 8, 1902, at Lyle Okla., she married Harry Zimmerman Sept. 15, 1927, at Wichita. He died June 15, 1961.

She was a retired secretary at the Reno County courthouse and was a resident of Pratt since 1981, moving from Hutchinson, Kan., where she was a resident from 1955, having previously resided at Protection, Kan.

She was a member of Protection Mennonite Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmie of Pratt and Frank of Tucson, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 3 at the church, with Pastor Henry Niermann officiating. Burial was at the Protection Mennonite Church cemetery.
