Mother of Three Dies In Car-Truck Crash

Ephrata, Pa. — A car-track collision on a hill near Rothsville on Jan. 2 claimed the life of Mrs. Betty Marian Zimmerman, 37, mother of three children. It was Lancaster County's first traffic fatality of the new year.

Mrs. Zimmerman was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, Frank Zimmerman, when it skidded into the truck. He was hospitalized with injuries but is recovering.

Mrs. Zimmerman was the former Betty Marian Nauman, and the family home is near Lititz. Besides her husband and three children of the home, she leaves her step-mother, Mrs. Ruth E. Nauman of Manheim, and four brothers.

Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at the Lititz Mennonite Church, of which she was a member.
