Father of Five Killed In Two-Car Crash On Ontario Highway

Millbank, Ontario. — Mervin Zehr, 34, of rural Milverton was killed in a highway crash near here Nov. 22 when his small European car was involved in a collision with a car driven by Julius Borth, 56, of Moorefield, who escaped with bruised ribs.

It is believed that Zehr lost control of his car on an icy section of the highway. He was a sander for the Deilcraft Furniture Co., Elmira, and was on his way to work when the accident occurred.

Surviving him are his wife, five daughters, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Zehr of Bamburg.

The memorial service was held Nov. 25 at the Nafziger Amish Mennonite Church, Poole, with Bishop Moses Nafziger officiating.
