NATIVE OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS CALLED BY DEATH AT KALONA, IOWA

Metamora, Ill. — A number of relatives from this community attended funeral services at Kalona, Iowa Aug. 7 for Chris H. Yotty, who died there Aug. 5 at the age of 70. Services at the East Union church were in charge of L. E. Jones and John Y. Swartzendruber.

Mr. Yotty, who was born in Woodford county, Ill., had been an invalid since the age of six due to an illness which left his legs paralyzed. He was cared for by his sisters, Mrs. Jacob Speas and Mrs. John Speas, after the death of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Yotty.
