Shipshewana, Ind. — Funeral services were held Oct. 15 at the Will Schmucker home near here for Solomon D. Yoder, 78, well known retired Amish farmer and carpenter. He died Oct. 12 at the home of a son, Joe Yoder, near Goshen.

Bro. Yoder was born near Berlin, Ohio and had lived in Kansas and Michigan as well as in northern Indiana communities. He leaves his wife, Susanna, five children, 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one sister and five brothers.

RETIRED AMISH FARMER, CARPENTER DIED

Shipshewana, Ind. — Funeral services were held Oct. 15 at the Will Schmucker home near here for Solomon D. Yoder, 78, well known retired Amish farmer and carpenter. He died Oct. 12 at the home of a son, Joe Yoder, near Goshen.

Bro. Yoder was born near Berlin, Ohio and had lived in Kansas and Michigan as well as in northern Indiana communities. He leaves his wife, Susanna, five children, 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one sister and five brothers.
