Ivan, son of Jacob N. and Edna Nisley Yoder, was doing his I-W service at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home at El Dorado.

The accident happened at about 1 p.m. and the body was recovered between 5 and 6 p.m. Two others in the boat with Ivan survived.

He was a member of the Plainview Mennonite Church southwest of Hutchinson, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

I-W WORKER DROWNED IN BOATING ACCIDENT AT EL DORADO, ARK.

Hutchinson, Kan. — Ivan Ray Yoder, 19, drowned in a boating accident at El Dorado, Ark., Tuesday afternoon, July 10, according to word received here Tuesday evening.

Ivan, son of Jacob N. and Edna Nisley Yoder, was doing his I-W service at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home at El Dorado.

The accident happened at about 1 p.m. and the body was recovered between 5 and 6 p.m. Two others in the boat with Ivan survived.

He was a member of the Plainview Mennonite Church southwest of Hutchinson, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
