Injuries Suffered in Fall Prove Fatal To Indiana Farmer

Ligonier, Ind. — Injuries suffered in a fall on July 4 proved fatal to Freeman Yoder, 80, who died July 15 at St. Joseph hospital in South Bend.

Mr. Yoder was helping a neighbor build a new house when he fell from the first floor into the basement. He suffered a fractured skull.

A former resident of the Topeka community, Mr. Yoder had resided on a farm west of here for the past 25 years. He leaves his widow, four sons and their families, and two sisters.

The funeral was conducted on July 18 at the Forks Mennonite Church near Middlebury, with Rev. Sylvester Haarer in charge.
