Virginia Farmer Dies Of Head Injuries
Stuarts Draft, Va. — Head injuries suffered in a fall at his farm proved fatal to Norman, M. Yoder, 66, well-known farmer here.
After he did not come into the house for supper, he was found lying unconscious in a grain bin in the barn by a son. He was taken to the University Hospital at Charlottesville where doctors performed surgery for removal of blood clots, but he died the following morning.
Investigation showed that he fell on the paved barnyard and struck his head on a small stone sticking out of the cement. He apparently walked to the granary before losing consciousness. Funeral services were conducted at the Mt. Zion A. M. Church.
